HELP SEND (Ver. 1.6)
---------
To send a message to the mailbox you have to use the SEND-command. There
are no additional commands necessary, because the BBS knows the difference
between personal messages (USER-part) and bulls (INFO-part).
Stored messages would not be forwarded before logout of entering station
(so deleting of wrong message is possible).
You can enter a message to a callsign or to a directory and you can indicate
to where (BBS of destination) the message should go (FORWARD). Every message
must have a header. If you dont type this header, the mailbox will ask you for
one. You can end the message with CTRL-Z or with the text ***END. If you dont
do so, the message would not be stored in the mailbox!
Examples:
S KG6GU : Message to KG6GU, no forward except the callsign has
registered his home-BBS in the user-file.
S KG6GU HELLO : Message to KG6GU with header HELLO.
S N4QQ @ N4QQ : Message to N4QQ with forward to BBS N4QQ.
S AMSAT : Bull for directory AMSAT, no forward.
S AMSAT AO-13 NEWS : Bull for directory AMSAT with header AO-13 NEWS.
S DIGI @ N4QQ : Bull for directory DIGI with forward to BBS N4QQ.
S BBS @ ALLE : Bull for directory BBS with forward to all german-
speaking BBS (Switzerland/Germany/Austria).
S YAESU @ DL : Bull for directory YAESU with forward to all BBS in
Germany.
S IARU @ EU : Bull for directory IARU with forward to all BBS in
Europe (text only in english!).
S AMSAT @ ALL : Bull for directory AMSAT with worldwide forward (text
only in english!).
You have the possibility to type in all params on one line (except the
text for the message), i.e.
S AMSAT @ ALL # 20 NEWS ABOUT SATTELITE-LAUNCH
That is a message for the directory AMSAT with forward to ALL mailboxes,
with a LIFETIME of 20 days, and the header of the message is NEWS ABOUT
SATTELITE-LAUNCH. You will then be prompted to type in your text.
You can give every bull a LIFETIME. The lifetime is forwarded and a bull is
authomaticly erased after the lifetime is gone.
Example:
S YAESU @ EU # 30
Your bull for directory YAESU gets a lifetime of 30 days.
On long-distance-forward over different systems it is possible that callsigns
in the header get lost. We reccomend you, to add these informations on top of
your text, e.g.
TO DG3SAJ @ WB4TEM.FL.USA.NA
FROM HB9SBS @ HB9AC.SWIT.EU
and then your text.
Please add to american BBS further informations such as STATE, COUNTRY and
CONTINENT.
